I will get the posts going... In "Nan's Journey", Mary was amused at the way the overalls blew in the wind on the clothesline as if Sam Dewey was walking in them. I remember looking out the window with my mama on windy west Texas days. Sometimes the legs of those pants would go into such contortions we would laugh our heads off!
Next time I will post about Terry and the underground electric fence....what a hoot.

ReplyDeleteI wanted to tell a story that Mom used to tell us kids. When she was little she had a big ole black horse. She was a very gentle mare, but Mom was scared of her. One day while the family was at town the horse got into the house. She used her lips to open the door.When she got in the house she got into the flour bin and shook the flour sack all over the three roomed house! Mom said it was a terrible mess and the black horse was mostly white by the time she got through with the flour.
